Job Description
```Duties```- Assist the dentist during dental procedures, including preparing the patient, sterilizing instruments, and passing instruments during procedures- Take and develop dental x-rays- Prepare and maintain dental equipment and instruments- Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques- Perform office management tasks such as scheduling appointments, maintaining patient records, and billing
```Experience```- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant preferred- Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and diagnosis- Familiarity with dental software Dentrix- Proficiency in infection control protocols and practices- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy laws- Ability to take accurate vital signs and record medical history
