Job Description

Smiles Up at Kaysville Pediatric Dental and Orthodontics!
Are you passionate about working with children/teens and making a difference in their smiles? We are excited to announce an opening for a Full Time Pediatric Dental and Orthodontic Assistant at our friendly and fun office! In this role, you will collaborate with our dedicated dental team to provide exceptional care specifically tailored to our young patients. Our ideal candidate will bring enthusiasm, compassion, and a desire to create a positive experience for both kids and their parents. You will assist in various procedures, ensuring that our patients feel comfortable and at ease during their visits. As you work alongside experienced professionals, you will gain valuable skills and knowledge in pediatric dentistry and orthodontics. If you enjoy a dynamic fast paced work environment where you can be a part of creating beautiful smiles, we want to hear from you!
Full Time or Part Time: Must be available any day Monday-Friday. This employee will work up to 4 days a week.

Hourly compensation rate dependant on experience
Benefits include: dental care, monthly bonuses, scrubs provided
Quarterly team building activites
Holiday pay after 90 Days

Dental Assistant Qualifications

Assist orthodontist and pediatric dentists during examinations and treatments
Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments to ensure a clean environment
Take radiographs and perform dental cleanings
Provide chairside support and comfort to young patients during procedures
Educate patients and their families on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of treatments

Dental Assistant Responsibilities

High school diploma or equivalent;
Dental assistant certification, CPR certification preferred
Previous experience in a pediatric or orthodontic setting is a plus
Strong communication skills, especially when interacting with children and parents
Ability to remain calm and patient in a busy office environment
Familiarity with dental terminology and procedures
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
Proficient with basic computer skills, Dentrix is a plus

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.50 - $18.00 per hour
