Job Description
OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about oral health and patient care, possessing strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
Duties- Perform dental cleanings and assist dentists during procedures- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices- Take and develop dental x-rays- Maintain accurate patient records and treatment plans- Administer local anesthetic under the dentist's supervision- Conduct preliminary dental exams and charting
Requirements- Certification or Associate degree in Dental Hygiene- State licensure to practice as a Dental Hygienist- Proficiency in medical documentation and record-keeping- Knowledge of dental clinic procedures and protocols- Familiarity with medical imaging techniques- Experience in pediatric dentistry is a plus- Ability to take vital signs accurately- Proficiency in using Epic or similar electronic health record systems- Familiarity with four-handed dentistry techniques
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $58.00 - $60.00 per hour
