Job Description

San Marcos Orthodontics is seeking a part-time or optional full time with other locations Orthodontic Assistant to join our team! Our team of specialists continue to be committed to providing the highest quality of customer service. We pride ourselves on being efficient and a fun, family oriented practice!
We are open Monday to Thursday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. This position is strictly Monday through Thursday!
Our ideal candidate for this position will have at least 2 years of experience working in a dental practice (Ortho is a plus!), have a solid work ethic, and is quick learner. Promptness and dependability are very important!
Compensation Package:

$17.50 - $26.00 per hour (DOE)
Job Type: Part-Time: Mon/Tues-Thurs (8:00 am - 5:00 pm)

Summary of Essential Job Functions:

Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment
Scanning of patients’ teeth for the fabrication of models and customized mouth guards, appliances, Invisalign and retainers
Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and tray setups for orthodontic procedures
Assist doctors with a variety of orthodontics procedures
Conduct work in compliance with office policies and procedures, safety, and OSHA guidelines
Record medical and dental histories and vital signs of patient
Record treatment information and treatment in patient records
Participate in the achievement of patient satisfaction and office production goals by working efficiently and providing a high level of patient service
Spanish is a plus!
