Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist dentists with various procedures and provide excellent patient care
Duties
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations
- Assist dentists during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating their needs
- Take and develop dental X-rays
- Maintain accurate patient records and assist with medical documentation
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Utilize aseptic techniques to maintain a clean and sterile environment
- Perform four-handed dentistry techniques efficiently
- Familiarity with Open Dental software for patient charting or willingness to learn quickly
- Assist with pediatric dentistry procedures
- Provide chairside assistance for prosthodontics treatments
Skills
- Proficiency in X-Ray procedures on children
- Experience in pediatric dentistry is a plus
- Ability to perform tasks using proper aseptic technique
- Familiarity with four-handed dentistry practices
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 – 32 per week
