Now hiring a full-time Sterilization Assistant for our dental office in Fairfax, VA Willing to train the right person. Ideal qualities would be attention to detail, enthusiastic with fellow coworkers and patients, professional and computer savvy. Job description includes sterilization of instruments, setting up and breaking down treatment rooms and maintaining equipment.
This is the perfect opportunity for someone looking to enter the dental industry and who is self-motivated, detail oriented, and able to move quickly on their feet. The Sterilization Tech will be responsible for the proper care, maintenance, sterilization, organization, and monitoring of all instruments in order to ensure safety and efficiency.
You will also be providing back up to our busy Hygiene and Restorative departments to help sanitize rooms after treatment and provide basic assistance as needed (i.e. patient prep, note taking, etc). Please note that you will be handling valuable dental instruments hand-eye coordination, attention to detail, and organization is required. Experience in sterilization and sanitation is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate. Fluency in English is required, High School Diploma or Equivalent is preferred.
