Job Description

Duties:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations- Take digital dental x-rays- Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care- Perform dental charting and update patient records- Assist with dental lab tasks, such as pouring models and trimming trays- Manage patient flow
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant preferred- Knowledge of Dentrix and Dexis software- X-ray certification
We are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate individual to join our dental team as a Dental Assistant. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing quality dental care to our patients. Your duties will include assisting the dentist during procedures, preparing treatment rooms, taking x-rays, sterilizing instruments, educating patients on oral hygiene, and managing patient appointments.
To excel in this role, you should have excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work well in a team. Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred. Knowledge of Dexis software for dental records management and dental coding practices is highly desirable.
