We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our clinic, providing exceptional patient care, and supporting our dental professionals. Responsibilities:
- Assist dentists with patient care, including preparing patients for procedures, sterilizing instruments, and maintaining a clean and organized treatment room.- Take and develop dental radiographs, as well as assist with other imaging procedures.- Provide patient education, including explaining treatment options and oral hygiene instructions.- Prepare dental materials and equipment for procedures.- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.- Assist with front desk duties, including answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, and greeting patients.- Perform infection control measures, adhering to HIPAA guidelines and ensuring a safe and clean environment for patients.- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in dental technology and assist with implementing new procedures and equipment.- Collaborate with the dental team to achieve excellent patient outcomes.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.- Completion of a dental assisting program or equivalent experience.- Certification or registration as a Dental Assistant, as required by the state.- Strong knowledge of dental anatomy and terminology.- Proficiency in general dentistry and pediatric dentistry procedures.- Experience with endodontics and prosthodontics is a plus.- Familiarity with medical coding and terminology.- Commitment to adhering to infection control protocols and HIPAA guidelines.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and bilingual English and Spanish is a ++- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.66 - $23.12 per hour
Expected hours: 33 ââ¬â 40 per week
