## Job OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing quality dental care and promoting good oral health practices.
## Responsibilities- Conduct dental cleanings and assist with dental procedures under the supervision of a dentist- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care- Perform oral cancer screenings and take dental x-rays- Maintain accurate patient records and treatment plans- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and aseptic techniques- Utilize Dentrix or Eaglesoft software for patient charting and scheduling
## Qualifications- Degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program- State licensure as a Dental Hygienist- Proficiency in medical terminology, coding, and imaging- Knowledge of general dentistry systems and documentation practices- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
Preferred Skills:- Familiarity with Dentrix or Eaglesoft software- Experience with aseptic techniques in a dental setting
