We are seeking a Front Desk/Patient Coordinator with a warm and welcoming demeanor, who can be the face of our oral surgery practice. The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience in a dental or medical office setting, enabling them to hit the ground running.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
- The ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment, ensuring smooth daily operations.
- Proficiency in office management software and basic computer applications, contributing to the overall efficiency of our practice.
- A working knowledge of dental treatments, insurance verification, treatment presentation, and billing processes, which will be highly advantageous.
- A high level of attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure accuracy in every aspect of patient care and office management.
- A compassionate, patient-centered approach to service, ensuring our patients feel cared for and respected at all times.

Responsibilities
The Front Desk/Patient Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience for our patients from the moment they enter our office. Key responsibilities include:
- Greeting and checking in patients with a friendly and professional demeanor, creating a positive first impression.
- Managing the scheduling of patient appointments to optimize office and surgical time, ensuring efficiency and minimizing wait times.
- Answering and directing incoming phone calls, responding to patient inquiries, providing accurate information, and communicating effectively with other dental and medical colleagues.
- Verifying patient insurance information and assisting with billing and payment processing, ensuring accuracy and clarity in financial matters.
- Presenting treatment plans to patients, clearly explaining procedures, costs, and payment options with compassion and understanding.
- Maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations, safeguarding patient privacy.
- Coordinating pre- and post-operative instructions with patients, and following up on their care to ensure a smooth recovery.
- Assisting with general office duties, including filing, faxing, and ordering office supplies, to keep the office running smoothly.
- Collaborating with the clinical team to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication throughout the patient’s treatment journey.
