Job Title: Register Dental Assistant
Job Overview:We are seeking a skilled Register Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures, perform administrative tasks, and ensure excellent patient care.
Responsibilities:- Support dentists during examinations and treatment procedures- Prepare treatment rooms for patient appointments- Take Digital dental X-rays- Maintain accurate patient records and assist with scheduling appointments- Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures- Sterilize dental instruments following OSHA guidelines- Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies
Skills:- Proficiency in dental assisting techniques- Knowledge of pediatric dentistry practices- Familiarity with dental systems and software- Ability to take and develop X-rays- Experience working with pediatric patients- Strong organizational skills for managing medical records- Understanding of aseptic technique and infection control protocols- Proficient in taking vital signs- Knowledge of endodontic procedures
Requirements:- Certification or diploma in Dental Assisting- X-Ray certification preferred but not required- Excellent communication skills and a compassionate demeanor towards patients

Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
