Job Description

We are looking for a Dental Hygienist to help treat patients and promote good oral health practices. We are a small family and cosmetic dental practice in San Francisco, looking for a Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team. We are looking for either part time or full time candidates - New grads are welcome. 

Our goal is to work together as a compassionate team so we can provide the highest level of care to our wonderful patients. 

The ideal applicant would be comfortable using some digital practive management software, which we can train, and taking digital dental x-rays. We use Dentrix and Dexis sensor at our practice.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure patients feel as comfortable as possible before their examination
• sterilize dental instruments properly
• Conduct initial mouth scrreenings and check oral health history
• Identify conditions like gingivitis, caries or periodontitis 
• Clean and help protect patients' teeth
• Educate patients of all ages on proper teeth care
• Take X-rays and/or iTero Scan (training will be provided)
• Assist dentist with selecting appropriate treatments for various diseases (including oral cancer)
• Mantain documentation and charts on each patient
• Parking can be provided

Pay: From $65 per hour

Education: Associate (preferred)

License/Certification: 

• Registered Dental Hygienist 
• Dental License (Preferred)
