General dental office in Brea is seeking an energetic and friendly registered dental assistant to join our modern office and be a valuable member of our team. Patient experience is our top priority! RDA certification is required. Our ideal candidate would have a minimum of 4 years of experience in dental chairside assistance, proficiency in taking x-rays, the ability to assist in oral surgeries and root canals, as well as experience with iTero scanning and Invisalign. Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients in the dental office
• Sterilize instruments and prepare treatment rooms for dental procedures
• Take x-rays
• Keep track of outgoing/incoming lab cases
• Make preliminary impressions
• Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry
• Provide oral hygiene instructions and post-operative instructions
• Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
• Understanding of health and safety regulations
• Ability to perform regulated non-surgical tasks like coronal polishing and making temporary crown is a plus
• Excellent communication and people skills
