Job Description

Responsibilities:- Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning teeth, taking x-rays, and applying fluoride treatments- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized recommendations for dental care- Assist the dentist during procedures and maintain accurate patient records- Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as needed- Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean and sterile work environment- Utilize dental software systems such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, Epic, or other medical coding systems to update patient information and treatment plans
Skills:- Valid dental hygienist license in [state]- Proficient in using dental software systems such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, Epic, or other medical coding systems- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and explain treatment plans- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate patient records- Knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and equipment- Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with other dental professionals
