Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team FOR FRIDAY 8-5. The ideal candidate will provide quality dental care and oral hygiene education to patients while ensuring compliance with all dental regulations and protocols.
Duties:- Conduct dental cleanings and assist dentists in procedures- Perform oral cancer screenings and review patients' medical history- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques- Take and develop dental x-rays- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation- Administer fluoride treatments and apply sealants
Skills:- Proficiency in HIPAA regulations- Experience working in a dental office setting- Familiarity with Eaglesoft software is a plus- Knowledge of pediatric dentistry practices- Understanding of dental terminology and anatomy- Strong grasp of infection control protocols- Ability to work with medical terminology and documentation- Skilled in maintaining accurate medical records
