Job Description
Job Overview:We are seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing quality dental care and promoting oral health in a professional and compassionate manner.
Responsibilities:- Perform dental hygiene procedures including scaling, root planning, polishing, and fluoride treatments- Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans- Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques, preventive care, and post-operative instructions- Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix or similar software- Assist the dentist during procedures as needed- Ensure strict adherence to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques- Utilize knowledge of dental terminology and medical documentation
Requirements:- Degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program- Valid state license to practice dental hygiene- Proficiency in medical terminology and patient assessment- Experience working in a dental clinic setting- Familiarity with Dentrix or similar dental software is preferred- Strong understanding of aseptic technique and infection control practices
