Job Description
We are a thriving periodontal practice, committed to fostering a welcoming and professional environment for our patients and team members. We're excited to announce an immediate opportunity for a Registered Dental Hygienist (hygienists graduating by July 2024 are encouraged to apply) to join our dedicated team on any or all of the following days:
Tuesdays 8 am - 4 pm
Wednesdays 8 am - 4 pm
Thursdays 8:30 am - 6:30 pm

Our office is at the forefront of dental technology, operating in a chartless environment. We ensure you have sufficient time for each patient, allocating 1 hour for every periodontal maintenance visit.

As a part of our team, you will be expected to perform scaling and root planing. Applicants with a local anesthesia permit are preferred, but this is not mandatory.

Responsibilities Include:
Using dental instruments to clean accretions, calcareous deposits, and stains from teeth and beneath margins of gums
Noting and reviewing patient medical history
Using probes to examine and locate periodontal recessed gums and other signs of gum disease
Feeling and visually examining gums for signs of disease, sores, and other dental health issues
Maintaining and sterilizing dental instruments
Promoting preventative dental care to improve patient oral health care
Desired Qualifications Include:
Associateââ¬â¢s degree from an accredited hygiene program
State hygiene license
Current CPR certificate
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Comfortable using computers for a variety of tasks
Knowledgeable about oral hygiene and dental health
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: Up to $55.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 per week
