Job Summary:
We are looking for a compassionate, enthusiastic, organized and efficient Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) for our beautiful practice in Piermont, NY.
Our high quality patient focused office is seeking a part-time team member that can start on Mondays, Fridays, and (Tuesday, if possible). We are a cosmetically and restorative oriented general office which requires a person who is team oriented and focused on patient care. Must be familiar with periodontal treatment, keeping on schedule, OSHA, sterilization protocols, charting in Dentrix, and able to take digital x-rays. This job is for an experienced person who wants to start part-time with the possibility of full-time in the future. Duties:
- Conduct dental cleanings and assist with procedures as needed- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices- Perform patient assessments and charting- Take vital signs and medical imaging as necessary- Maintain infection control standards and practice aseptic techniques- Utilize knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, and patient care protocols- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure patient comfort and satisfaction
Skills:
- Proficiency in Dentrix or similar dental software- Strong understanding of infection control procedures- Ability to assess patient needs and provide appropriate care- Knowledge of aseptic techniques for maintaining a sterile environment- Familiarity with medical imaging processes- Excellent communication skills for patient education and interaction
