Who We're Looking For

Duties

• Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment in compliance with infection control protocols.
• Take dental radiographs (X-rays) as directed by the dentist, utilizing medical imaging techniques.
• Maintain accurate medical records and patient information in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
• Schedule appointments and manage patient flow as a dental receptionist.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
• Support pediatric dentistry procedures with sensitivity to the needs of young patients.
• Utilize dental software such as Eaglesoft for record management and scheduling.
• Perform basic laboratory tasks as needed, including impressions and model preparation.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in dental assisting or a related field is preferred.
• Knowledge of anatomy relevant to dentistry is essential.
• Familiarity with general dentistry practices and pediatric dentistry is a plus.
• Proficiency in medical imaging techniques, including X-ray operation.
• Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations regarding patient confidentiality.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
