Responsibilities

Assist dentists during examinations and procedures by preparing instruments and materials.
Perform four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during treatments.
Manage patient flow, ensuring timely appointments and minimal wait times.
Maintain accurate medical documentation and patient records using software such as Epic and Eaglesoft.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Conduct medical imaging procedures, including X-rays, while adhering to safety protocols.
Ensure the cleanliness and sterilization of dental instruments and workspaces.
Support pediatric patients by creating a welcoming environment and addressing their unique needs.

Requirements

Previous experience as a Dental Assistant in a clinical setting is preferred.
Proficiency in dental terminology and familiarity with medical documentation practices.
Experience with medical imaging techniques is advantageous.
Knowledge of pediatric dentistry principles is a plus.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining professionalism.
Strong communication skills to interact with patients of all ages, especially children.
