The Dental Assistant plays a crucial role in assisting dentists during patient procedures and ensuring smooth operations within the dental clinic.
Duties- Assist dentists during examinations and treatment procedures- Prepare and sterilize instruments for dental procedures- Take and develop dental x-rays- Perform dental receptionist duties when needed- Support prosthodontics procedures
Skills- Proficiency in Open Dental- Experience with four-handed dentistry techniques- Knowledge of medical records management in a dental clinic setting- Familiarity with medical imaging for dental procedures- Ability to assist with prosthodontics procedures- Understanding of medical coding practices
