Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine oral health needs.
Perform a variety of dental procedures, including fillings, extractions, crowns, endodontics and preventive care.
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation for all patient interactions.
Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.
Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants to provide optimal patient care.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive measures.
Stay updated on advancements in dental technology and techniques.
Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and aseptic techniques.

Requirements

Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
Valid state dental license to practice dentistry.
Proficiency in medical terminology and documentation practices.
Experience with Dentrix or similar dental practice management software is preferred.
Strong skills in patient assessment, dental fabrication, and infection control measures.
Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient education and comfort.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
