Dental Assistant (DA) - Sunny kids dental - Compton, CA

Responsibilities:- Assist the dentist during dental procedures- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment- Take dental x-rays- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care- Perform dental charting and maintain accurate medical records- Conduct patient assessments, including taking blood pressure and reviewing medical history- Assist with pediatric dental procedures and provide a comfortable environment for children- Utilize computer-dentrix/dexis software- Assist with medical coding and documentation
Experience:- Previous experience as a dental assistant preferred, but not required- Knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and equipment- Familiarity with pediatric dentistry is a plus
