Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled lead Registered Dental Assistant to join our small, private dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing excellent patient care and assisting the dental professionals in delivering high-quality services. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication and leadership skills, and the ability to be a team player and jump in to help where needed. This position requires at least 5 years of experience as a lead RDA. Front desk duties will also be expected.
Duties

Assist dentists during examinations and procedures by preparing necessary instruments and materials.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Manage appointment scheduling and patient flow to optimize office efficiency.
Handle sterilization of instruments and equipment following aseptic techniques.
Support administrative tasks as needed, including answering phones, working recall, treatment coordinating, etc...

Requirements

Proven experience as a lead RDA.
Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry is essential.
Ability to perform X-rays safely and effectively, take impressions, fabricate temporary crowns, and knowledge of proficiently using digital scanners and intraoral cameras.
Strong understanding of aseptic techniques and infection control protocols.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with patients and team members effectively.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Registered Dental Assistant certificate, CPR, and OSHA/HIPAA training a MUST!
