Experienced Dental Assistant - Arlington Center for Dentistry / Chantilly Dental Center - Chantilly, VA

Chantilly Dental Center are seeking a dental assistant for a part-time or a full-time position. Candidates with at least one year of experience is preferred, not required. We would prefer someone who is open to commuting between both offices on different days, depending on the schedule. Compensation will be determined based on experience. Responsibilities:

Deliver quality care to every patient
Educate patients in proper hygiene and post treatment care
Prepare treatment rooms for patients examination and treatment
Maintaining clinical inventory (sterilization and lab supplies)
Training new dental assistants
Taking and processing digital and film x-rays
Sterilizing instruments and sanitizing treatment rooms according to OSHA requirements
Document patient information and procedures in Dentrix

Preferred Requirements:

Reliable transportation
Knowledge of Dentrix and dental terminology
VA Dental Radiation Safety Certified
Bilingual
Works well independently and as a team
Willing to work in a fast paced environment and helping other assistants when needed
Able to explain dental treatment and procedures to patients with knowledge of dental terminology
Confidently assist providers in preventative care, restoration treatments, implants, fixed/mobile prosthetics, etc.
Experience assisting Orthodontist and Endodontist is a plus
Must have excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills
Strong work ethic and detail oriented

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
