Job OverviewPrivate Practice: We are seeking a dedicated, skilled and experienced Associate Dentist to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to providing high-quality cosmetic and general dental care and will be proficient in various dental procedures. This role requires a compassionate approach to patient care and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive dental examinations and assessments for patients.
Execute a variety of dental procedures, including but not limited to oral surgery, root canal therapy, and pediatric dentistry.
Utilize aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety and infection control during all procedures.
Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants in four-handed dentistry practices to enhance patient comfort and efficiency.
Manage patient records accurately using Dentrix software, ensuring all dental terminology is correctly applied.
Fabricate dental appliances as needed, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and fit.
Provide education to patients regarding oral health, preventive care, and treatment options available.
Stay updated on advancements in dentistry and participate in continuing education opportunities.
Skills
Proficiency in COSMETIC & oral surgery techniques and endodontics is highly desirable.
Experience working in a dental clinic setting with knowledge of dental terminology.
Familiarity with aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile environment during procedures.
Ability to perform root canal therapy effectively and efficiently.
Strong skills in four-handed dentistry for improved patient care delivery.
Experience in pediatric dentistry is a plus, catering to the unique needs of younger patients.
Knowledge of OPEN DENTAL software for managing patient records and treatment plans.
