Dental Assistant/RDA - Teddy Dental - Glendora, CA

We are a fast paced pediatric dental office that is looking to add an outgoing and friendly Dental Assistant/Registered Dental Assistant to our team.
Responsibilities/duties are, but not limited to:

Familiarity with dental terminology, materials, medications, and instruments used during dental procedures.
Perform the following tasks to ensure efficiency: clean, sterilize instruments and set up trays.
Take patient's x-rays
Perform coronal polishing on patients
Fluoride varnish application
Chairside assisting
Assist Doctor with knee to knee exams
Maintain and test dental equipment
Instruct patients in oral hygiene and educate patients on preventive dental care
Perform charting activities and document exam findings in the patient chart
Maintain clean, orderly, and well-stocked operatory and laboratory
Safely performs all duties of protective protocols to ensure personal safety as well the safety of others
Helping to schedule appointments
Ensuring each patient has a positive dental experience

Desired Background:

Excellent communication and computer skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
X-Ray license required
Pit and fissure sealant certificate
Coronal polishing certificate
Infection control certificate
Valid CPR certificate
Oral conscious sedation certificate is a plus
Registered Dental Assistant License
Bi-Lingual (Spanish) is a plus
Front office knowledge is a plus (experience with Dentrix Ascend is a plus)
Willing to work at both our Rancho Mirage and Indio location

Job Types: Part-time/Full-time
Hourly pay: starting at $17.00/hour or higher (commensurate with experience)
