Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care while ensuring a comfortable and safe environment for our patients. The Dental Hygienist will perform various clinical tasks, including patient assessments, cleanings, and education on oral health practices.
Responsibilities

Conduct thorough patient assessments to evaluate oral health and hygiene needs.
Perform dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar.
Utilize aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile environment during procedures.
Assist in the development of individualized patient care plans based on assessments.
Take medical imaging as required, including X-rays, to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning.
Maintain accurate medical records for each patient visit, documenting treatments and progress.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care strategies.
Collaborate with dentists and dental assistants to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Uphold the highest standards of patient care in a dental clinic setting.

Requirements

Valid dental hygiene license in the state of practice.
Strong knowledge of anatomy related to oral health.
Experience in a dental office or clinic is preferred but not mandatory.
Proficiency in medical records management and patient care documentation.
Familiarity with dental assisting tasks is a plus.
Excellent communication skills to effectively educate patients about their oral health.
Ability to work well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Commitment to maintaining high standards of aseptic technique and patient safety.
