Dental Assistant - River street family dental - Mattapan, MA

Job Overview:We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures, and help to ensure patients receive quality care.
Knowing Haitian creole is a big plus!
Duties:- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations- Sterilize dental instruments and tools- Assist the dentist during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating their needs- Take and develop dental x-rays- Make preliminary impressions for study casts and occlusal registrations for mounting study casts- Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies- Maintain accurate patient records
Experience:- Proficiency in aseptic technique- Knowledge of CAD software is a plus- Familiarity with medical documentation and HIPAA regulations- Experience in assisting with dental procedures- Understanding of medical terminology- Ability to take vital signs accurately- Knowledge of medical imaging techniques- Familiarity with medical coding practices- Proficiency in Eaglesoft software
