Lead Expanded Functions Dental Assistant - Carmean Family Dentistry - Crown Point, IN

Carmean Family and Cosmetic Dentistry, located in Zionsville, Indiana, is a privately owned, state-of-the-art dental practice in search of a confident and professional Lead Expanded Functions Dental Assistant. This is a full-time opportunity. No late nights or weekends! Our hours are as follows:

Mondays, Tuesday, Thursdays, & Fridays: 8:00am-5:00pm
Wednesdays: 9:00am-6:00pm

As a Lead EFDA on our team you will:

Effectively present & manage treatment of complex, reconstructive cases
Place fillings
Take digital x-rays, as well as intraoral photographs to complete records and aid in treatment planning
Disinfect operatories between procedures
See that lab cases are checked in and are going out in a timely manner
Perform all of the clinical duties that are called for per your licensure. (Such as Fabrication of Provisional Coverage, Impressions, placing fillings, etc.)
Manage the clinical inventory system
Other duties as assigned

Our ideal candidate will have:

5-Star approach to patient care with active listening
Professional and friendly personality
2+ years of management experience (Preferred)
Dental chairside experience: 2+Years (Preferred)
CPR Certified (Preferred)
Active Indiana X-Ray Certification (Required)
Licensed Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (Required)
Knowledge of Eaglesoft is a plus!
