Dental Assistant - DENTAL 1 - Waterford, MI

We are a private practice office in Waterford, MI looking for a passionate and caring full-time (36 hours/week) dental assistant with a strong interest in dentistry! We are looking for an assistant that is willing and capable of learning new methods, techniques, and the nuances of a different environment. Compensation will be based your ability to help our team continue to serve our patients and grow our practice.
Assisting experience preferred, but not required.
We perform a variety of treatments for patients from oral surgery procedures to orthodontics and pediatric dentistry.
Typical responsibilities, but not limited to:

Assist dentist during dental procedures.

Sterilize and disinfect instruments

Take and develop x-rays
Take/pour/trim/polish impressions
Pack/unpack lab cases that come into the office
Order and maintain supplies
Make temporary crowns

· Maintenance of equipment

General housekeeping

Desired knowledge and skills, but not limited to:
