Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Orthodontic Assistant to join our dental team. The ideal candidate will play an important role in providing exceptional patient care and support during orthodontic procedures. This position requires a blend of clinical expertise and strong interpersonal skills to ensure a positive experience for our patients, particularly children and adolescents.
Duties

Assist the orthodontist during various procedures, including placing and removing braces, taking impressions, and fitting retainers.
Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and treatment plans.
Schedule appointments and manage patient flow to optimize clinic efficiency.
Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a seamless patient experience.

Skills

Previous experience as a Dental Assistant or in a dental clinic setting is preferred.
Familiarity with dental terminology and documentation practices.
Knowledge of pediatric dentistry is an advantage, as we cater to younger patients.
Proficiency in using dental software systems for managing records and scheduling.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for maintaining accurate medical records.
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and team members.
Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
