Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care while performing dental hygiene procedures. This role requires a thorough understanding of dental terminology, patient assessment, and effective communication skills to ensure a positive experience for our patients.
Duties
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including reviewing medical histories and performing oral examinations.
Provide dental cleanings, scaling, and polishing of teeth to maintain optimal oral health.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Utilize medical imaging technologies to assist in diagnosing dental conditions.
Document patient care activities accurately in accordance with practice protocols and regulations.
Collaborate with the dental team to develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies.
Requirements
Valid Dental Hygienist license in the state of Michigan.
Proficiency in dental terminology and familiarity with Eaglesoft software is preferred.
Experience in patient care and assessment within a clinical setting.
Knowledge of medical coding and documentation review processes is advantageous.
Strong understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also demonstrating independence when needed.
Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on providing exceptional patient service.

Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
