Dental Assistant -Part Time - Buckland Hills Dental - Manchester, CT

We are seeking a Dental Assistant to join our team!
Responsibilities:

Assist the dentist during all phases of patient treatment, including preparing patients, taking pictures, answering questions, and assisting during treatment.
Prepare and maintain patient supplies and equipment as well as follow all company policies and procedures.
Take and develop patient medical histories.
Conduct dental impressions.
Take X-rays and impressions.
Provide oral hygiene instruction to patients including post-operative care.
Keep an organized dental supply inventory.
Perform special projects tasks as requested by dentist, including preparation of instruments, re-stitching crowns, etc.
Educate patients and their families on proper post-operative care for teeth and gums (including aftercare instructions) and total restorative care.
Educate patients on financial planning for their future.

Qualifications: Dental Assisting Certification (CAD) preferred. Knowledge of dental terminology and basic dental procedures is required. Ability to work with a team is a must. Experience with Teeth whitening equipment is preferred but not required.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour
