OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team at Signature Smile Dental Spa. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care while ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow within the practice. As a Dental Assistant, you will assist the dentist during procedures, manage patient records, and contribute to maintaining a safe and sterile environment.
Responsibilities
Assist the dentist during examinations and various dental procedures.
Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for dental procedures.
Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
Manage patient records, including updating medical histories and treatment plans.
Perform dental radiographs (X-rays) as directed by the dentist.
Provide support to patients by answering questions and explaining treatment procedures.
Maintain inventory of dental supplies and equipment, placing orders when necessary.
Assist in dental coding and documentation related to patient care.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient office operations.
Qualifications
Previous experience in dental assisting is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided.
Knowledge of infection control practices and protocols is essential.
Familiarity with dental terminology, dental records management, and Dentrix Ascend software is a plus.
Strong communication skills with the ability to interact positively with patients of all ages.
Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
A compassionate demeanor with a focus on providing excellent patient care.
Certification in dental assisting or relevant qualifications.

Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
