Laser certification, familiarity with Curve operating system and experience in advanced periodontal therapy preferred.

Responsibilities:
Use a range of dental instruments to clean teeth and remove plaque
Use a laser for periodontal therapy
Make recommendations for changes in diet, oral hygiene, and lifestyle to help prevent oral disease
Perform periodontal procedures, including scaling and root planning and gingival retraction with an electric periodontal scaler and air polishers
Administer local anesthesia
Order diagnostic imaging tests such as x-ray, cone beam scans, intra-oral photos, and digital radiographs; apply fluoride varnish
Gain/have familiarity with saliva testing
Familiarity with periodontitis staging protocol
Ability to travel for continuing education
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $41.00 - $50.00 per hour
