The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and ensuring a comfortable experience for our patients. This role involves performing dental cleanings, conducting patient assessments, and maintaining accurate medical records. The Dental Hygienist will work closely with the dentist and other team members to support the overall health and well-being of our patients.
Responsibilities

Conduct thorough patient assessments, including reviewing medical histories and vital signs.
Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and polishing of teeth.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care.
Assist in the management of medical records and documentation using Eaglesoft or similar systems.
Collaborate with dentists to develop individualized treatment plans for patients.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with health regulations.
Provide support in dental assisting tasks as needed during procedures.
Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies.

Experience

Previous experience in a dental office or clinic setting is preferred.
Proficiency in medical terminology related to dentistry.
Familiarity with Eaglesoft or similar practice management software is a plus.
Strong skills in patient care, including the ability to assess patient needs effectively.
Knowledge of dental assisting practices is beneficial but not mandatory.
Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and team members.
