The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, performing dental cleanings, and educating patients on oral hygiene practices. This role requires a strong understanding of dental terminology and procedures, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Duties

Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations for patients in both general and pediatric dentistry settings.
Utilize aseptic techniques to ensure a safe and sterile environment during procedures.
Assess patient oral health by taking vital signs and documenting medical histories.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
Collaborate with dentists to develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with dental office protocols.
Assist in four-handed dentistry, supporting the dentist during procedures to enhance efficiency.
Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies.

Requirements

Valid Dental Hygienist license in the state of practice.
Experience working in a dental office or clinic is preferred.
Strong knowledge of anatomy, dental terminology, and general dentistry practices.
Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach to treatment.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
Familiarity with pediatric dentistry is a plus but not required.
Strong communication skills to effectively educate patients about their oral health.
