A Prominent Family Health Center is seeking a skilled, patient-focused Dental Hygienist to join their team. As a Dental Hygienist the candidate will play a key role in providing preventive dental care to their patients. You will work closely with our dental team to educate patients on proper oral hygiene, assist with examinations, and perform various dental cleaning procedures. maintain healthy smiles. Responsibilities: Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and scaling to remove plaque, tartar, and stains from teeth. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed. Conduct patient assessments, including reviewing medical histories, and assess the overall oral health status. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, diet, and preventative care. Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety. Apply fluoride treatments, sealants, and other preventive treatments as directed. Document patient information and treatment plans accurately in the electronic health record (EHR). Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment, adhering to infection control protocols. Promote the Family Health Center’s commitment to patient care and community well-being. Qualifications: Associate’s degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program. Valid state dental hygienist license and current CPR certification. Strong knowledge of dental hygiene practices, techniques, and tools. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to educate and support patients. Experience working with diverse patient populations is preferred.
