Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care, ensuring the comfort and satisfaction of our patients while promoting oral health. You will work closely with the dental team to perform preventive dental care, educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, and assist in various clinical procedures.
Duties

Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess oral health.
Apply preventive materials such as sealants and fluoride treatments.
Take and review patient medical histories, including vital signs.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Document patient care and treatment plans accurately in the electronic health record system.
Assist in pediatric dentistry by providing care tailored to children’s needs.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment following aseptic techniques.
Collaborate with dentists and dental assistants to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Skills

Strong knowledge of anatomy as it relates to dental health.
Proficient in aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile environment.
Experience working in a dental office setting is preferred.
Ability to monitor and record vital signs accurately.
Familiarity with pediatric dentistry practices is a plus.
Excellent patient care skills, demonstrating empathy and understanding.
Competence in documentation review for accuracy and compliance.
Previous experience in dental assisting can enhance your candidacy.
