Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic team. The Dental Hygienist will play a crucial role in promoting oral health and ensuring patient comfort during their visits.
Duties

Perform thorough dental cleanings and assessments for patients of all ages, including pediatric dentistry.
Conduct patient assessments to identify oral health issues and develop appropriate care plans.
Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to assist the dentist during procedures.
Maintain accurate documentation of patient care, including treatment plans and progress notes.
Review documentation to ensure compliance with clinic protocols and HIPAA regulations.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
Operate dental equipment and instruments safely and effectively within the dental clinic environment.
Collaborate with other dental professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Experience

Previous experience as a Dental Hygienist is preferred, with familiarity in using Dentrix or similar dental software systems being an advantage.
Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry.
Proven ability to provide exceptional patient care while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor.
Experience in documentation review and adherence to clinical standards is essential.
