Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and motivated dental hygienist to join our team. As a dental hygienist, you will work closely with our dental team to provide patients with high-quality oral health care. You will be responsible for performing various dental procedures, educating patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, and maintaining accurate patient records.
Responsibilities

Perform dental prophylaxis, periodontal scaling and root planning, and other dental procedures as directed by the dentist.
Administer local anesthesia as necessary.
Acquire digital dental radiographs, 3D imaging (Planmecca)
Conduct thorough oral cancer screenings, evaluate tonsil tissue.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide instructions on how to maintain good oral health.
Record and update patient medical and dental histories.
Maintain sterilization and infection control procedures in accordance with OSHA and CDC guidelines.
Learn Range of Motion, and PONTS analysis.
Learn how to identify lip tie as well as tongue tie.
Perform other duties as assigned by the dentist.
Be open to continuing education. Interest in learning laser techniques as well as Myofunctional therapy.

Qualifications

Associate's degree or higher in dental hygiene from an accredited dental hygiene program.
Active state dental hygiene license.
CPR certification.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to work well as part of a team.
Proficiency with dental software and technology. (Eaglesoft)
