Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. Duties

Conduct thorough patient assessments, including reviewing medical histories and vital signs.
Perform dental cleanings and scaling procedures while adhering to infection control protocols.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
Document patient treatment plans, progress notes, and any changes in medical history accurately (Dentrix).
Assist with the management of medical records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Review documentation for accuracy and completeness before submitting for billing purposes.
Collaborate with dentists and dental assistants to provide comprehensive patient care.
Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and participate in continuing education as required.

Requirements

Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
Proficiency in medical terminology and familiarity with dental office procedures.
Experience with Dentrix or similar dental software is preferred.
Strong understanding of infection control practices within a dental setting.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills for documentation review and patient assessment tasks.
