Responsibilities
Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.
Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment according to infection control protocols.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
Maintain accurate medical records and patient documentation.
Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care.
Schedule appointments and manage the dental clinic's front desk operations.
Utilize dental software such as Eaglesoft or Epic for patient management.
Support pediatric patients with a friendly and reassuring demeanor.
Collaborate with the dental team to ensure optimal patient care.
Qualifications
Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred; training will be provided for the right candidate.
Familiarity with dental terminology, medical documentation, and record management is essential.
Experience with dental software systems such as Eaglesoft or Epic is a plus.
Knowledge of prosthodontics and pediatric dentistry is advantageous.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are required.
Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
