Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dental clinic, providing exceptional patient care, and assisting the dentist during various procedures. This position requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, proficiency in dental software systems, and a commitment to maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques.
Prepare and maintain dental instruments and equipment for patient treatments.
Take and develop medical imaging, including X-rays, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
Record and update patient medical histories, including vital signs.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Manage patient appointments using dental software systems.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dental operatory and sterilization areas.
Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and safety regulations.
Support administrative tasks as needed, including filing records and managing inventory.

Qualifications

Previous experience as a Dental Assistant in a clinical setting is preferred.
Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and endodontics is highly desirable.
Proficient in taking medical imaging with an understanding of safety standards.
Strong communication skills with the ability to educate patients effectively.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Certification in CPR or basic life support is preferred.
