Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our dental office. As a Dental Assistant, you will work closely with dentists and other team members to assist in various dental procedures, maintain patient records, and ensure a welcoming environment for our patients.
Responsibilities

Assist dentists during examinations and procedures by providing necessary instruments and materials.
Prepare patients for treatment by explaining procedures and ensuring their comfort.
Take X-rays as required, adhering to safety protocols.
Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix.
Ensure the cleanliness and sterilization of dental instruments and treatment areas.
Educate patients on post-treatment care.
Collaborate with the dental team to improve office efficiency and patient satisfaction.

ExperienceCandidates should possess the following skills and experience:

Proficiency in dental terminology and medical terminology is essential.
Experience with Dental coding is a plus.
Familiarity with Dentrix ascend is highly desirable.
Previous experience as dental assistant within a dental setting is beneficial.
Knowledge of X-Ray, is preferred.
