OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care while ensuring the highest standards of hygiene and safety in our clinic. As a key member of our dental team, you will play a vital role in educating patients about oral health and assisting in the overall management of their dental care.
WE are looking for fridays 9-2 pm and possible wednesday in future 9-6pm
Responsibilities
Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess patients' oral health.
Utilize medical imaging techniques to capture accurate diagnostic images.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
Maintain accurate medical records and document patient treatments in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Assist in the management of dental office operations, including scheduling appointments and maintaining inventory of dental supplies.
Implement aseptic techniques to ensure a safe and sterile environment for all procedures.
Collaborate with dentists and other dental professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans.
Skills
Proficiency in medical imaging and familiarity with dental terminology.
Experience working in a dental office or clinic setting, demonstrating strong patient care skills.
Knowledge of dental assisting practices and systems used within the industry.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate medical records.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively educate patients.
Ability to adhere to aseptic techniques and comply with health regulations.
