Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. Responsibilities
Assist dentists during various dental procedures, including but not limited to prosthodontics and endodontics.
Prepare and maintain the treatment area, ensuring adherence to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols.
Manage medical documentation accurately and efficiently, including patient records and treatment plans.
Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance the efficiency of procedures.
Educate patients on post-operative care and oral hygiene practices.
Perform basic laboratory tasks such as taking impressions or preparing materials as needed.
Collaborate with the dental receptionist to schedule appointments and manage patient flow.
Stay updated on medical terminology and anatomy knowledge relevant to dental practices.
Qualifications
Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate.
Knowledge of prosthodontics, endodontics, and general dentistry practices is highly desirable.
Familiarity with medical documentation processes and terminology is essential.
Strong understanding of infection control measures and aseptic techniques.
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in all tasks performed.
Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members.
