OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dental team in delivering high-quality services. Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during various procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared in advance.
Perform four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during treatments.
Take and develop dental X-rays, adhering to safety protocols and infection control standards.
Monitor and record vital signs of patients as required before procedures.
Maintain accurate medical documentation, including patient histories and treatment plans.
Ensure compliance with infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment for both patients and staff.
Manage administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, handling patient inquiries, and coordinating with the dental receptionist as needed.
Assist with medical coding for insurance claims and maintain organized patient records within electronic health record systems like Epic.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
Knowledge of four-handed dentistry techniques is essential.
Familiarity with infection control practices in a dental setting.
Proficiency in medical imaging techniques, including X-ray operation.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate medical documentation.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while providing excellent patient care.
Experience with medical coding is a plus but not mandatory.
