OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Orthodontic Assistant to join our dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our orthodontists during various procedures. Responsibilities

Assist orthodontists during patient examinations and treatments, ensuring a smooth workflow.
Prepare and maintain the treatment area, including sterilization of instruments and equipment following infection control protocols.
Record and update medical documentation accurately, ensuring compliance with medical terminology standards.
Provide patients with pre-treatment instructions and post-treatment care guidance.
Manage patient records and appointments, including scheduling follow-up visits.
Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.
Maintain knowledge of dental anatomy to assist in patient education regarding orthodontic treatments.
Collaborate with the dental receptionist to ensure seamless patient flow and communication.

Skills

Proficiency in prosthodontics and endodontics is preferred but not required.
Strong understanding of medical documentation practices and medical terminology.
Familiarity with aseptic techniques and infection control measures in a clinical setting.
Experience with four-handed dentistry systems to assist in procedures effectively.
Knowledge of anatomy related to dental health is essential for patient education.
Excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and team members.
Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a busy environment.
Minimum 2 years of expirience required.
